New release agent

  The experimenting went well. Unfortunately the material I am using is still sticking to the casts. 

I am trying a new release agent and will keep you posted.

The process begins

 I have finished putting several layers of shellac in the casts and I am ready to experiment. Not sure how this new material will work but I am hopeful it will say what I am trying to convey. Thought behind the materials chosen is really important to me. 

Not so glamorous side

 Have just starting casting again for a new body of work I am doing. It is definitely a messy job. The medical grade plaster bandage works really well. I am fortunate to have my husband to help me with the not so easy to get to spots. This ageing body doesn't cope as well as it used too.  Hopefully my skin will feel a little nourished from the vaseline.
