Amazing time in Cairns

It has been a busy and inspiring month for me and as a Mother's Day/ Birthday gift my wonderful daughter gave me a return flight to go to the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair.

The fair showed the exceptional creativity and diversity of Queensland's Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander artists. It was a truly magnificent exhibition, with over 300 Qld artists represented 13 Indigenous art centres and seven galleries. On display original paintings, prints, weaving, pottery and sculpture.

This was taken outside the wonderful KickArts Contemporary Arts Gallery in Cairns.
We also enjoyed wonderful exhibitions at the Regional Gallery, Canopy Art Centre
and Umi Arts Gallery.
So grateful for this wonderful experience.
